DAX SPONSORS NEW DESIGNERS - July 2008 New Designers 2008 was an exhibition of graduate design, from graphic and product design to aviation, architecture, jewellery, fashion and textiles. Over 4,000 graduates showed their work in the dynamic environment of the Business Design Centre, Islington, over a two week period. During this time 18,000 visitors, both trade and design conscious audiences passed through the doors, establishing New Designers as a premium graduate event for innovative ideas from the future generation of designers.
11 product designers from UWIC, University of Wales Institute Cardiff exhibited during week two of the event, with printing costs covered by Dax International. The stand was awarded Runner Up for the 'Best Stand Award' during the exhibition.
